Along with the board, I also got this great enclosure for the @Mirko_DIY #MirkoPC board. Looks fantastic, and really keeps the board safe and protected.

I think there's a plan to use thinner materials, but I'm impressed by the quality and heft of this one too!

After an excellent suggestion at a hardware mod on the board from @Mirko_DIY, I now have NVMe enabled with a Compute Module 4 and #RISC_OS on the new #MirkoPC.

Not many hardware designers would put in so much time to help a niche user base make best use of their hardware.

@Mirko_DIY That was an old RISC OS enthusiast saying back in the day! Completely different meaning to now, but still!

I'm sure someone made tee-shirts or mouse mats with it on. Might have been one of the user groups, or even Acorn themselves?

I'm incredibly happy to see another satisfied user of MirkoPC and other products like Modulo.

I plan to return to this project after the summer break, and who knows what else might happen. Please keep an eye on my profile, as I intend to publish parts of this project as Open Hardware.

Received this prototype board from @Mirko_DIY this week and it's a beauty! I hope this one goes into full production. It's early days but I have an original MirkoPC and if this one lives up to that one, it'll be an excellent piece of kit.

@Mirko_DIY You did not lose my trust. Things happen and sometimes go wrong. I'm just glad you're making things again. It'd be great to see a return of the Modulo 4 as that was a unique item that has been incredibly useful to me!

Had a bit of an inkling to buy a @Raspberry_Pi 500+ for a project. Went off to look at prices. The inkling has very much worn off. Or probably more correctly it's been 'crushed'. I really didn't expect that price for the descendant of the computer I once got free with a magazine.

I'm just waiting for someone to design a near replica of the #Psion5MX with colour screen, slim features, angled hinge and a similarly lovely keyboard! 30 day battery life optional...

What happened to @KFC_UKI? Used to be fast food - now it's a 10min wait for even simple orders. Priority for deliveries while drivethru and instore customers just wait?

Parked 15 mins at an understaffed Mansfield KFC for a basic order! A dozen deliveries left while I waited.
