@SportsWithJay0 You could see this coming a mile away. The aprons will force salaries down, and that was the owners’ goal.
As for Silver, his boss is the owners. As such he will do all their bidding, not watch out for the fans and the product. He has proven to be milquetoast.
@Timberwolves@J30_RANDLE Thank you for what? Pick one:
1. Being a black hole offensively?
2. Dribbling the air out of the ball while the shot clock expires?
3. Continuing to launch 3’s when shooting 24%?
4. Not showing up for huge playoff series?
5. Turning the ball over so much?
@NotDestroyy@WolvesBackNBA@2HYPEPG13 I don’t say this much, but STFU. Probably one of the most important role players on the team. I don’t know if you’re just being disrespectful to DDV after a career threatening injury or just stupid.
@SamQuinnCBS Actually, he should do exactly a Shams alert. The last time he did something bigger didn’t turn out so well. He went from largely beloved superstar to an instant villain who ripped the collective hearts out of his hometown fans on national television.
@mconley11@JonKrawczynski@Timberwolves I admired your game goiing back to your Ohio State days. I couldn’t believe it when the Wolves traded for you. Thaks for helping get the Wolves to the cusp not once, but twice.
@caiberidi@ShamsCharania@PrioritySports The NBA’s collective bargaining agreement is so player focused it hamstrings teams. That is the real reason by the aprons…to get gradually push salaries down.
The NFL’s structure is so much better - players still get g’teed money, teams still have caps, but teams aren’t stuck.
@JonKrawczynski It’s actually perfect for him, as he can be option 1. He will be good enough to keep them in the sweet spot of too good to suck but not good enough to truly compete, right where the lottery is. Best of luck to Randle.
@TWolvesLead I totally get the excitement and I think Finch and the Wolves can get Melo to be more efficient. But honestly it is the injury history that scares me.
