I read the @News24 coverage of @afriforum finances so you wouldn't have to be subjected to their vibes. Key findings:

- Salaries are the biggest spending item, like in any organisation.
- Given that it's an NGO, staff get paid on the lower end of the Patterson salary grading scale.
- AfriForum directors earn significantly less than e.g. the directors of Eskom or Transnet.
- Even during its lowest recruitment year (2026), the 4,000 new AfriForum members by itself (just the new members) is a greater number than /all/ the members per se of most other entities claiming to represent Afrikaners.

This is wonderful coverage that gives me confidence as an AfriForum member. I would encourage all Afrikaners, all my fellow liberals, and all South Africans with good sense, to become paying members.
