🎵Now this is a story all about how… 🎵
I built a multi-million dollar Chrome extension, crashed it, now rebirthing.
My problem?
I always looked for shortcuts. Spoiler: they go nowhere.
My ⬆⬇➡⁉️ cautionary tale about why we should compound our talent steadily 👇
@pbteja1998 Oh that's me! It very rarely happens but for me, Ragaas' value prop was like a bolt of lightning. Doing RAG right is hard, and I love that you're making it easy.
@mattburgess1 Hey Matt - I had the same problem so I've been tinkering on a Gmail addon to spend 5 mins infinite scrolling through the best newsletters I didn't open. Lmk if you'd like to try it? (It's extremely privacy aware btw)

Writing landing pages is hard.
@jackbutcher and @harrydry spent 90 minutes reviewing 15 landing pages from the 10x Creator Course. I distilled their insights from 15,000 words to 1,500.

❤️ HighSignals even more now @petecodes
👉 Actually feel like I have startup friends (only took 15 yrs)
👉 Feel a pleasant pressure to hit a weekly milestone. Better focus, really.
👉 A roast led to a big landing page leap no amount of arguing with myself could do.
I cannot recommend this more highly - I joined on a leap of faith and my brain is happily whirring from the breadth of experience, and the intimacy of being able to talk freely. Smashing job Pete.
Doing our second chat with other revenue-verified founders in an hour ⏳
A great opportunity to chat with other founders and to get advice.

@cogentgene Def not died off, but also no longer growing as it did (and growth cures all!).
The Streak founder, rightly imo, talks about there being infinite niches over email - because everyone uses it.
E.g. @Kamphey doing @trypigeon
@cogentgene SEO and word of mouth were helping a lot. Also ActiveInbox had been written up in things like LifeHacker, where "GTD" was the ultimate siren call, a passphrase to open all doors (in that niche).
@cogentgene Oh actually that too - but more Getting Things Done become less sexy. For a while it was the Creator Economy / Indie Hacker / AI / 10X of its time, and ActiveInbox was cunningly named GTDGmail (before being sued - I knew nothing at 23!).
That's my little story.
