@HMRCcustomers She did that this morning. Waited an hour in queue to be told they couldn’t fix cos she is incorrectly recorded as needing to self assess. Can’t you send us to someone direct? Doesn’t feel like it will help calling the same number. It’s HMRC’s mistake to correct not ours

@HMRCcustomers Made a call this morning re underpayment of tax. Call handler couldn’t help and told me to send an email. Couldn’t give me an email address but said it was on the HMRC website. I can’t find it. Can you direct me please?

@HMRCcustomers It’s for my wife. She was told she had underpaid but the underpayment is in relation to KIT days where she would have been under tax threshold for the year so shouldn’t have paid any tax on earnings from KIT days. Needs correcting so she isn’t charged for it.
