A little insight to the return of KK

It’s publicly reported everywhere and quoted that KK never came back to NUFC but under the radar his friend Graeme Forster took him in last year - the Academy final day before they broke for summer.

It was arranged with no fanfare or publicity because King Kev insisted the visit was for the young lads and the staff. He didn’t want the attention on himself or anything to distract from them. Typical Kev, humble, selfless, and always putting others first. 🖤🤍

They were only aware they had a very special figure visiting them and a collective gasp was drawn when he entered the canteen, which was packed out in anticipation.

There was an informal open forum chat with them inc tales and laughs then he stood for photos with everyone in attendance from players, coaches,kitchen staff to security and the best thing is…at the end KK asked director Steve Harper to round up the players being released, literally their last NUFC day as a trainee pro and he gave them all a motivational speech impressing on them they had to keep going and with rejection you gain strength!.

Sean Neave was amongst the young ones who got a proud photo with him.
