Interesting read, thank you for sharing @NickYoussef. I can't speak to the rationale of other Arab comics, but empirical research on #PrejudicedNormTheory supports your stance on refraining from "easy" Arab humor (e.g. Ford & Ferguson 2004; Ford et al. 2014; Ford & Olah 2021).
