@GrahamSmyth Probably the right result based on the second half, gave the ball away too often and repeatedly out of position on the counter. The fact that it’s a frustrating one shows we’re doing ok though.
@SkyCricket Much like many of the wickets England lose, absolutely brainless. Although ‘bazball’ may be entertaining, the batters still need to be able to apply themselves, not smash the leather off the ball, every ball.
@TheDartsReferee I stopped drinking completely for around 6 weeks to have a bit of a detox, and even now I occasionally have one, I don’t drink when I play darts. Definitely the mental side of the game which makes you think drink will help, but once you get used to it all is well!
@LUFCMOTcom The fee probably isn’t helped by rumours of Szmodics going for £6-10m. If he’s the yard stick (although he me only have a year left on his deal and is older), then £25m is probably about right….just feels low when the talk is of £40m
@theedgar501 I do think you need players to dominate for long periods so there’s more of an event when they do lose big games. The last few years where players have won a couple of tournaments then faded away a bit, is nice on one hand but hard to see where the benchmark is for the top level
@OscarMarrio People have to consider that the eras of Ferguson winning those titles and Pep winning with City now are so different. A lot of PL clubs spend more now than was ever spent 10-20 years ago. Not really comparing apples with apples so to speak…
