@ZackPolanski Would love to see this paired with a strategy to support small businesses.
Tackle extractive commercial landlords. Scrap business rates for independents. Offset NI/VAT costs with targeted support for growth.
Reward the value creators.
@tomcoates@ZoeSchiffer Same… terrible UX, not even the bare minimum testing done.
Proper flow is to set up your auth app first, then you can turn sms auth off.
@AtilaFassina It depends on your context, the module system and built-in capabilities of SASS make it a great fit for building styling systems and frameworks.
But if you’re using an existing framework or CSS-in-JS then you probably don’t need it.
@MaxFRobespierre A lot of servers (particularly the larger ones) are hitting bottlenecks with the influx of users.
The app is most likely not the problem.
@buildsghost It’s a tough one, I think the best advice is to avoid disabled buttons if you can, and instead guide users to what they need to do.
I think the WCAG guidance on not meeting contrast requirements is okay, as long as you pair it with a higher contrast explanation.
@Philmoorhouse76@madgie1941 I think the worst part of the whole thing was taking a close result and translating that to the most extreme form of Brexit.
There was clearly no mandate for what we ended up with, and no effort was made to find a position that had mass support.
@jaffathecake I like the opt-in approach, you can still explicitly choose to have something like a subtle fade, but user preferences are respected by default.
@Philmoorhouse76 @dagadog I agree with the point, but I think there is a risk that Labour count on the anti-tory vote too much.
It certainly helps turnout to have something to vote for.
