Andy V

Padres fan. Punk rock and good pizza is a great night.

[Andy V @andyvsd]

@GarlicFryRy @LauerHourFC I do not like Chavez at all but Chase field is one of the worst parks in all of baseball.

[Andy V @andyvsd]

@mookiemuse7 @mlb_agent There is no perfect way. If the org believes in him, he has a job and a chance at big money for a longer time. If the player can jump around sooner. Orgs will in turn cut players sooner and focus on players that are sure things. Owners already want to shrink the draft and milb.

[Andy V @andyvsd]

@mookiemuse7 @mlb_agent Then he should have signed out of HS instead of college. He didn’t sign until he was 22. Dominican players are signing and released before that age all the time. It’s not a perfect system, but the teams are giving these guys plenty of time to develop. Other sports not so much

[Andy V @andyvsd]

@mookiemuse7 @mlb_agent Well the comment was about a player being under control for 14 years. That doesn’t happen to an elite players like Soto, Harper because they made the show by 19-20yo. The 14 yr controlled guy signed at 16 and took 6-8 years to develop.

[Andy V @andyvsd]

@thestevenwoods Did the same with all 3 of my kids. They have their own bands they like from their generation but they also know all the music from mine as well. Most of the time they want to go to the same shows I do. Only problem is it gets expensive for the bigger acts.

[Andy V @andyvsd]

@KirbyDillon4 @hatethist3am There was a freshman on my kids team that sat 84 with a great curve. He had lots of success and this was in SoCal playing in the open division against some of the best players in the country. The same teams that routinely wipe up Texas teams. Hes now playing in college.

[Andy V @andyvsd]

@EbinFug @jjjjjjjjjttt1 @JeffVeillette You said I don’t go to games and I just proved you wrong. Maybe if you didn’t pay for a dumb checkmark you could afford to go to a game instead of complain how expensive that it is.

[Andy V @andyvsd]

@EbinFug @jjjjjjjjjttt1 @JeffVeillette I have a season ticket package and I went to 2 playoff games this year. Cry more.

[Andy V @andyvsd]

@jjjjjjjjjttt1 @JeffVeillette The tickets were selling below face value. What other excuse are you going to use? Traffic, game time, heat?

[Andy V @andyvsd]

@OneJetsDrive @WFAN660 @tommylugauer I have no issue with the Soto trade. Difference is Soto was a pending free agent and was not signing an extension. Padres had to shed some payroll because of the death of their owner. Tatis is under an affordable contract for another 8 years. Not remotely the same thing.

[Andy V @andyvsd]

@legsrule0 @716szn @JudgesChamberss @BNightengale I’m not a dodger fan at all. Outside Tampa, because it’s Tampa. No fan base would no-show because it’s hot or any other lame excuse.

[Andy V @andyvsd]

@Dodgerdogqz @BNightengale Didn’t hurt when you fell off the bandwagon?

[Andy V @andyvsd]

@716szn @JudgesChamberss @BNightengale They started complaining about the heat 2 days before the game.

[Andy V @andyvsd]

@jshub112 @BNightengale Because the fan base is so fickle, the ticket prices were below face value. Parking in the other hand is just brutal

[Andy V @andyvsd]

@lal2690 @BNightengale And you have a population that is 8x other markets if you include the IE.

[Andy V @andyvsd]

@JudgesChamberss @BNightengale No, it was too hot last week

[Andy V @andyvsd]

@Icaru51 @BaseballWRLD_ Platinum is 100% fan vote and Tatis lights up the highlight reels while Bailey is just good at framing which no one really cares about.
