Every smile, every kind word, every time you go out of your way to be good to someone—the sacrifices, staying up late, caring for that loved one, the generosity—it’s all affecting not just what you can see, but even generations to come.
Scripture says, "God has an appointed time to bring the promise to pass and it will not be one second late." Thoughts will tell you, “You’re falling behind. You’re missing out. God must have forgotten about you.” No, when it's your appointed time, God will make up for lost time.
You don’t have to find your worth and identity in other people or in things of this world because it has already been given to you through Jesus Christ. He chose you and brought you into His family through your relationship with Christ.
Are you getting your approval from the wrong place? It was never meant to come from people, but from God. When you’re secure in who He made you, you know you’re valuable, talented, you're well able, then you don’t have to have all the outside validation.

God knew you would have weaknesses. He made you. You’re not a surprise to Him. You’re not supposed to beat yourself up because you haven’t arrived yet. I don’t know one person that has arrived.
A tree will only produce the fruit of what it is. If someone is always telling you one thing, but the fruit is different, the fruit is not lying. The fruit is who they are. “I’m loyal. I’m faithful. I’m going to be there for you.” But they never show up. They always have an excuse. They’re too busy. That’s who they are.
