After nearly 30 years of resisting the return of divisive sectarianism marches to Garvaghy Road, local families have been dealt a cruel blow of injustice. The incompetence of the Parades Commission has ensured that the loopholes of the British Crown’s judicial system be exploited by sectarian ideology, forcing an unwanted march by the Orange Order through a nationalist community.
This judicial overturning has used the mismanagement of the commission as a justification for why the safety of the residents is now compromised by sectarian elements, and why three decades of generational trauma are now being weaponised.
The argument that these unwanted marches are “culturally” important must be questioned. When nationalist communities have fought simply to have their own language, heritage, and identity recognised—a fight which has been opposed relentlessly at every turn by unionist parties—it is utter hypocrisy to suggest it is a “cultural” right to parade sectarianism through a Catholic area.
The profound imbalance is staggering; you cannot criminalise the identity of nationalism whilst judicially weaponising loyalism. This highlights a deeply ingrained systemic bias, one in which the British Crown will make allowances for sectarian intimidation.
This injustice is further highlighted by the reactionary outcries by British establishment figures like Rupert Lowe, who claimed Irish reunification as an “insult” and an attempt to “break up” their union. This desperate clinging on to a collapsing colonial framework prioritises a foreign ideology over the Irish identity.
Nationalists throughout history have been collateral damage for a flawed system, one in which our heritage is bartered away to appease everyone and anyone at the expense of our own peace. A broken system is futile to fix. The only way to dismantle the deep rooted colonial bias is to assert a true national sovereignty. The National Party wholly condemns this abuse of power by the British Crown state in forcing an Orange Order parade, and backs the emergency legal challenge motioned by the nationalist families of the Garvaghy Road.
It was, is and will remain a march blighted by unhinged sectarian hatred. Amongst others, we remember the murder of the Quinn brothers. The perpetrators of that heinous act have never faced earthly justice.
Thank you to all our members, supporters and guests who attended our international conference. We were proud to host the first event of its kind in Ireland, welcoming guests from across Europe and America to discuss, promote and build upon what will save our nation - Remigration!
@GeorgeDillon @DuFehlstM1r @NationalPartyIE@YanMacNP I’ve studied the rising for years lad. I know where things went wrong and where they succeeded. If you want an intellectual discussion thats okay. But saying that Pearse’s idea of blood sacrifice was wrong is objectively false given how the reaction to the executions was.
@Tommyoconnor798 @NationalPartyIE I merely used Robinson as an example of what we are not. There is no outside influence and our inspiration comes from generations past.
All you’ve done now is say you have a problem with no solutions offered but if you want an actual discussion then tell me what you would offer
@Tommyoconnor798 @NationalPartyIE You’re making a lot of assumptions there with not enough information and ended up with a steam of pseudo-intellectual verbal diarrhoea.
The NP is the vehicle for Irish nationalism without any untoward influence from external factors. Unlike a Mr Robinson you seem to follow.
A preview of the presentations at our Galway event this weekend. Full videos to follow. Thank you to everyone who attended. We appreciate your support.
A 23 year old French nationalist has been murdered in Lyon in France by left-wing extremists who think they are above the law.
Whether Lyon, Dublin, Madrid or Berlin... this could have easily happened in any city in Europe where violence against nationalists is condoned by state and media.
Nationalists are simply ordinary people. They are “radicalised” only in the sense that they have no other choice. They love their countries and they want to see their peoples flourish. They are held together by bonds of loyalty, honour and friendship. Anyone who thinks that they can suppress nationalist and identitarian movements by murdering their members has another thing coming.
Our prayers and condolences go out to the friends and family of a fallen French patriot.
Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
