I received this letter from a farmer in northeast Kansas. His wife is ill and he is aging.
He sent me 1 of 5 N95 masks he has from farming to pass on to a doctor or nurse in New York.
This is humanity at its best. I share his letter as inspiration.
This pandemic has painfully brought to the surface many of the reasons I launched @MBK_Alliance—structural racism robs too many of our kids of their futures. The leaders on today's call aren't just tackling this crisis; they’re helping us build a more equitable future for all.
Time is always moving on; nothing can stop it. We can't change the past, but we can learn from it to shape the future. Stress on ‘us’ and ‘them’ is a source of conflict. We neglect basic human qualities of kindness and compassion. Let’s work together to create a happier future.
Mind over Matter
My brain's Beta Waves turned on a lamp, via an electromagnetic Bluetooth relay, invented by Trent Johnson, an AV-tech I met in Asheville, North Carolina after a public talk I delivered there.

The President and I have something in common. We vote by mail. He thinks it's great for him but hates the idea that it could lead to an increase in voter participation. He and many in his party are afraid of the voters. His opposition to democracy is nefarious and hypocritical
Over here on E Street, we are crushed by the loss of John Prine. John and I were "New Dylans" together in the early 70s and he was never anything but the lovliest guy in the world. A true national treasure and a songwriter for the ages. We send our love and prayers to his family.
I don’t usually get into this, but seems like the next time the president says “who had any idea something like this could happen” the next question from whoever should be “what about all the warnings by the health agencies and intelligence community that are all documented?”
On March 27, Bank of China donates medical supplies (including 30000 medical masks, 10000 sets of protective clothing, 10000 goggles and 50000 pairs of gloves, followed by N95 medical masks) to Canada fighting against COVID-19. We are together!
A deep awareness of the goodness of human beings, that they are essentially kind, helpful, and gentle, can give us courage and hope. On a personal level too, such a vision of our basic nature can help promote a greater sense of well-being and connectedness with others.

Trump: “People are really surprised I understand this stuff. Every one of these doctors said, ‘How do you know so much about this?’ Maybe I have a natural ability.’” It’d be hilarious if it weren’t so TERRIFYING. Who’d even hire this dufuss as an office temp?
@NatSolarObs@AURADC @NSF_MPS The NSF's Inouye Solar Telescope provides unprecedented close-ups of the sun’s surface, but ultimately it will measure the sun’s corona – no total solar eclipse required. 😎

I don’t like formality. There’s no formality when we’re born and none when we die. In between we should treat each other as brothers and sisters because we all want to live a happy life. This is our common purpose and our right.
