@dominos_india seriously needs to change the way they operate . Ai agent is of no use. Store won't pick up the phone and no live agent on chatbot.
What's the point of ordering directly from the app is such abysmal service is normal.
Sanctity of exams is one area where the current govt has failed catastrophically. In a country our size where a single mark decides your entire life - this should've been tackled from day 1. Heads should roll and examples should be made for all the recent blunders.
Barring the location of Jamnagar , the more one reads about it you realise how important it is not just for the Indian economy but for the world economy. It is the epitome of refining infrastructure and capability. Yes they could always do more but ambani's have already done alot
The owners of Exxon, Shell and AT&T did not built OpenAI or Gemini.
Tech companies did it.
Ambani solved refinery, retail and telecom. He can’t do tech. He isn’t made for tech. He believes in betting on volume game and thinking big.
It is Infy and TCS that dropped the ball
This place is literally a 2 min drive from a ministers ( DEL gov ) home. The police station is less than 500m and I've travelled through this stretch countless times. Dad had predicted this the last time we were crossing , no lights / markings just plain ignorance all around.
His name was Kamal. He was just 25. @DelhiJalBoard chairman is responsible for this. His workers dug a 15 foot pit - in the middle of the road - didn’t put up any warning signs. This is murder - plain and simple - the workers will be punished - the officer in charge will not.
Tbh- As long as The PIC is trying to teach something and backs it up with logic and manuals/SOP - Nothing wrong with it. P2's need to get out of this mindset that every input/pointer is an intrusion on Their PF sector 😄
During approach my FO well below
the glide-slope & correct on speed asked “gear down” at around 13 miles (regular is around 7-8 miles) & my initial reaction was “NOWWW”?
Immediately I recalled my time on right & LHS doing this & how irritated I felt! You become what you hate!😬
Dear newly released first officers. Stop getting influenced negatively by your fellow captains and pilot uncles on X. You’ll make money and have enough time to crib later, for now, enjoy the privilege!
Remember for the last 10 years Deepinder was actively promoting woke-leftist talking points - going so far as outing privileged client interactions on Zomato that he had no business disclosing. This week the same left came after him & the right supported him - ON PRINCIPLE.
Valid but that question should be directed to the society at large instead of QCOM.
Reality is the unorganised sector in the country was/will always be like this. UClap and Qcom are providing some stability to it
This level of transparency is truly commendable.
When broken down, someone working 10 hours a day for 26 days a month earns around ₹21,000 per month, assuming expenses are limited to about 20%.
In a country where entry-level IT salaries start at roughly ₹35,000, this may not look entirely unreasonable on paper.
At the same time, it’s heartbreaking to realise that this income comes at the cost of nearly 260 hours of work every month. The numbers make sense, but the human effort behind them raises an uncomfortable question about how we value time, labour, and dignity.
Criticism is warranted for QCP's but nobody without any vested interests can discount the fact that they've created employment at a scale which india hasn't seen before.
All parties / policies / planning commissions couldn't do what blinkit/zepto/swiggy are doing.
Delivery partners are not overworked on our platforms. (2/5)
In 2025, the average delivery partner on Zomato worked 38 days in the year and 7 hours per working day, reflecting true gig style participation rather than fixed schedules. Only 2.3% of partners worked more than 250 days in the year. Demanding full-time employee benefits like PF, or guaranteed salaries for gig roles doesn’t align with what the model is built for.
Delivery partners are not assigned shifts or geographies. They determine when to log in and log out, and their area of work in a specific city. Partners also have the freedom to add or remove a desired work area based on their preferences. Once a partner opts into a gig, the only expectation is availability for the duration of that gig; beyond this, there are no participation requirements.
This shows that gig work is a reliable source of secondary income for delivery partners which is available to them all 365 days of the year. It is used as a flexible, stop-gap earning option, not a long-term lock-in.
Flexibility isn't incidental to the gig model, it is the whole point.
You may like him or not like him but what he's doing here is gonna have alarm bells ringing in PR management firms. Brave of him to address the issue head on instead of hiding behind curated statements.
Well done @deepigoyal
Facts below (1/5):
In 2025, average earnings per hour (EPH), excluding tips, for a delivery partner on Zomato were ₹102.
In 2024, this number was ₹92. That’s a ~10.9% year-on-year increase. Over a longer horizon also, EPH has shown steady growth.
Most delivery partners work for a few hours and only a few days in a month. But if someone were to work for 10 hours/day, 26 days/month, this translates to ~₹26,500/month in gross earnings. After accounting for fuel and maintenance (~20%), the net earnings for the partner are ~₹21,000/month.
Note: Earnings per hour are calculated on total hours logged in, including the time when the partner might be waiting to receive an order. Earnings per “busy hour” will be higher but that’s not the right metric to look at.
On top of this - delivery partners earn 100% of tips given by customers. The average tip per hour in 2025 on Zomato was INR 2.6 and in 2024 was INR 2.4 per hour. Tips are transferred instantly, with zero deductions. We absorb the payment gateway processing cost ourselves. About 5% of the orders get tipped on Zomato; 2.5% on Blinkit.
Noida / greater noida property prices are an indicator enough as to how far UP has come under yogi government.
They still have miles to go but atleast some movement has been there in the right direction which can't be said about alot of state governments.
Important perspective, while it hurts to pay - gotta realise it's not charity but an obligation.
The only key demand from the present govt should be to expand the base as much as possible. Bring farm income above a certain threshold under IT.
All the people talking about reduction or exemption of long term capital gains tax.... see this.
The total LTCG in AY 23-24 was Rs 858,022 crores.
80% Out of this ie Rs 690,370 crores was earned by people having more than Rs 5 crores returned income!
So 80% of the long term capital gains is earned by people with income above Rs 5 crores (not wealth. Income!)
That becomes 90% at RS 772,544 crores for people with income above Rs 50 Lakhs!
Less than 5% of the total LTCG (Rs 39,870 crores) is earned by people with income below Rs 10 Lakhs!!!!!
In short the point is LTGC is being paid really by the rich and the super rich. Dont get confused and make it a "common man" or "middle class" issue.
No accountability for the 2 months he's lost , harship and torture he faced. The cops will probably be back in a couple of months. What if there is no cctv the next time ?
False statements, evidence tampering and no heads will roll :)
Sohan, a Class 12 student, was travelling by bus to visit relatives when it was abruptly stopped near Malhargarh (MP). A few men, later identified as cops, boarded the bus and dragged him off in full public view.
There was no explanation, no warrant, and no prior FIR. He was picked up merely on suspicion of carrying drugs, despite being arrested completely empty-handed.
When the police realised no drugs had been recovered, they chose not to let their “seamless operation” go to waste. They planted 2.7 kg of opium, said to be seized in another case, on Sohan, registered an FIR showing recovery from him, and told the media they had busted a major narcotics syndicate. He was then produced in court and sent to jail.
What they failed to anticipate was that the bus had CCTV, which clearly showed Sohan being taken away empty-handed, pointing to planted evidence. When the video went viral, the police initially denied that the men were cops, only worsening their position.
The case reached the High Court, which summoned the SP. The SP admitted that Malhargarh police acted illegally and outside the law, apologised, and ordered a departmental inquiry against the officers involved. Sohan was released after two months of illegal detention.
Ironically, Malhargarh police station had been awarded as one of the best in the country by the Home Minister. If this is how the “best” station works, one can only imagine the rest. It is frightening how easily the police can ruin a life in this country. Without CCTV, Sohan’s life would have been destroyed forever.
Dear ALPA, can you pls sought clarification on if 1 off in seven days is applicable to pilots or not. Secondly pls discuss if weekly rest should be combined with PLs/VAC.
