@TMobile has given me and my family plan folks the worst experience imaginable. In this time of high inflation, they have made us pay a whole months’ gas worth of $$$ to cancel our phone ☎️ lines. I don’t know how to file a complaint with consumer court but if I did… 1/3
In this time of recession and inflation, this amount can work for my week of groceries and gas. I have had the worst experience and the plan owner had no options. /end
as in he had to pay a full 7 mo worth of bills, around 35 per month ALL while he is trying to work with customer service from another country at odd hours of the day. Remember COVID is still rampant and travel is terrible/risky. I have to pay $116 for my end of the troubles 5/n
as in I have to pay full 4 months of bills, around 35 per month when I was informed of my line suspension ending nor with any line or data usage from my side because I can no longer use a US phone number. Tell me how this is supposed to be fair. 7/n
This makes no sense. I was willing to pay $5 per month of suspension fees (3 mo max) with the buffer that in a month or 2, the owner of the plan will be able to resolve my line cancellation. So that brings me to $15 for me, bad but not unreasonable. Past the 3mo, they charged 6/n
all this while I have suspended my line because customer service tells me that while my line is suspended, it will allow some time for the owner to cancel my line. $5 per month for the suspended line. On the plan owners side, he was trying to change ownership and it took him 3/n
Overall, finding a reason to work on P1 tasks in the summer is much more challenging than any other time of year. Visualizing data is my guilty pleasure, and I’m finding it hard to motivate myself to stay in and write code. Maybe fall will be a better time to make some charts.
A tragedy of many tech companies is that diligent work that enables a flawless launch is taken for granted but heroic effort that fixes a botched launch is loudly lauded.
Of all the things that are worth investing in for your retirement, investing in relationships that matter is a sure shot way to achieve emotional wealth when you retire. Financial wealth will follow the same trajectory.
My friend and I started talking about going to a rage room. It’s tax season. He’s an accountant. Me? I’m just a data scientist trudging through Q2 planning.
On a train to Philly. Man gets on, no mask. Attendant says he needs one. He doesn't have one, wraps piece of clothing around face. Attendant leaves. Man removes covering. Says "fucking bitch."
The level of "Philly" brought into this man by fellow passengers is beyond.

Ottawa people are standing up to the Anti vax hooligans. Yesterday, they tried to handcuff our building door shut. Security in the building stopped them. Police is overwhelmed. As a new Ottawa resident, I couldn’t be more proud of them. #OttawaOccupied
There are statistical methods to tease apart effects from product changes. Sophisticated and naïve ones. The trade off one needs to make depends on the time to decision versus impact of that decision that the method unlocks.
