"We Christians are to be lights in the midst of darkness, and our lives should exemplify relaxation, peace and joy in the midst of frustration, confusion and despair." #BillyGraham
Every now & then I’ll catch glimpses of beauty that feel so right. I wonder if these are like arrows pointing us heavenward. Little reminders to our soul that Glory is real & God is good.
God's not far from us. Evidence of His presence is all around us just waiting to be seen.
Don't believe the lie that someone else's calling is better. Don't waste a second wishing for another person’s life.
God has special assignments for YOU! Out of all the world, He's chosen you. Called you. And equipped you. Believe it, friend. And live it.
Satan is the father of lies and he wants you to believe that you are left out, lonely and less than. Don’t believe his toxic deception.
The truth is you are loved by God. And His love can never be diminished, tarnished, shaken or taken. His love never rejects or uninvites.
The voices of shame and rejection can come at us, but they don’t have to reside in us.
God says we are loved.
God says we are chosen.
God says we're forever His.
And His is the voice we must choose to believe.
Ever feel "less than" because of your struggles? Remember...
Jesus doesn't compare.
Jesus doesn't exaggerate.
Jesus doesn't condemn.
He simply says, “I love you. Just how you are. But, I love you too much to leave you stuck. So let’s work on it together."
Even small faith is completely able to hold us.
If you feel like you’re slipping today, backtrack & remember where God has been faithful in your life. Recounting His faithfulness reminds us we’re not dangling by a thread out on our own.
Our God is faithful. And we are held.
We may feel overlooked by others but we are handpicked by God. If you need help believing this is true, I wrote a devotion just for you. Read it here: https://t.co/FzGJe1WOX1
Shame lies. It says God's grace walks up to us, shakes its head, and turns away. But we know Grace never turns and runs. Grace embraces.
So turn your heart to the safety of Jesus’ forgiveness, friend. He loves you. He forgives you. He can heal your hurt.
