In the example earlier, the prospect was intrigued after reading a case study about another customer in the same industry where we had showcased a very niche use case for our platform that the prospect wanted to emulate.
A #cdp should be your single source of customer truth. What good is it if it doesn't include data you need from every tool and database you use? In Part 1 of our webinar series, we'll discuss all things #dataintegration, fetching, and ingestion.

That's when I truly began to appreciate and love the challenge that is #marketing.

PS: Not sure 5-Tweet essays are the right format for Twitter but forgive me, I'm new here (kind of). 🤷♀️
When I started out as an entry-level marketer, I was often assigned tasks and tactics by my manager. Write a blog post. Schedule some Tweets. Send out these emails. Launch this ad campaign.
I quickly learned HOW to do the things I was asked to do, like:
- Why are we writing an eBook on this topic?
- Why did that email campaign perform well?
- Why didn't this webinar convert more registrants?
- Why is this particular ad doing better than the others?
Providing an #inbound lead with too much high-level messaging will frustrate them and providing an #outbound lead with too many features and details about "how the sausage is made" will confuse them.
There's a fundamental difference in the way #sales and #marketing should engage with their inbound and outbound leads.
📥 #Inbound leads found you. They have a known pain point or problem, and they think your product can help solve it.
📤 Why is this product a good fit? Can it help my company reach our goals? Your job as the marketer, SDR, or sales rep is to understand the situation and then make a compelling case to get to the top of their priority list.
