Terri Irwin has not dated since her husband, Steve Irwin, died in September 2006. The question has followed her for nearly 20 years.
Her answer has stayed consistent.
They met in October 1991 when Terri, an American from Oregon, visited the Irwin family’s small wildlife park in Queensland. Steve was giving a demonstration.
They married on June 4, 1992, in Eugene, Oregon. They spent 14 years together raising their children, Bindi and Robert, and building Australia Zoo and the conservation work that became The Crocodile Hunter.
Steve was 44 when he was killed by a stingray while filming. Terri was 42. She had to tell their eight-year-old daughter and two-year-old son that their father was not coming home.
In 2016 she said she had not been on a single date since he died.
In 2024 she told interviewers she had already had her “happily ever after” and saw no point in looking for another Steve Irwin. She has said she thinks it is wonderful when other widows find love again; it simply was not what she wanted.
She continued raising their children and carrying forward the wildlife work they started together. She still speaks about missing him.
One of the clearest things she has said is: “I’m lonely for Steve, but I’m not a lonely person.”
Her life after 2006 has not been defined by waiting for another marriage.
It has been defined by the family and the work that already existed. ❤️
No piercings, no tattoos to attract attention. Just a good voice, a good band, good sound, a good song. Comparing it to today's music is unfair because 80s music was far superior.
A mother seal approached two women on the beach, but one of them threw her drink at the animal to scare it away. Shortly after, the seal headed toward a man, trying to get his attention; it then snatched one of his sandals and ran off toward the ocean. Following the seal, the man discovered that its pup was trapped in a fishing net among the rocks. The entire time, the mother had simply been looking for someone to help her little one.

A mother fox covered her cub with her own body during a devastating forest fire, protecting her baby even as she suffered burns and was covered in soot. A mother’s love knows no limits.
remember when Princess Diana stepped out like this making Charles look like a fool just hours after admitting that he cheated on her in a televised interview? now that was for history books

Paul Simon pays tribute to 9/11 by performing "The Sound Of Silence".
A native New Yorker, you can see the deep emotion in Paul's face as he sings.
Heartbreaking.
