‘Everyone deserves a place to call home’

Homelessness and a lack of access to safe and decent homes, in particular social housing is one of the biggest emergencies this country faces, it’s not just about the lack of access but the knock on effects on education, healthcare and other areas of people’s lives.

Yesterday I spent some time with Prince William, @homewardsuk and those who’ve experienced homelessness first hand in Sheffield. We also heard about @homebase_uk investing over £1 million in starter packs to help families move into their houses and make it a home.
