@hasengames I wouldn't use the generic word better for either one. Without the helmet the character feels more vulnerable and humane. If you look at it from that kind of viewpoint it might be easier for you to decide. It might also make for a neat gameplay element to lose/gain the helmet.
@wilenski_damian There's also an obvious seperation between framework/engine/library code and game code, so future porting shouldn't be too hard, as the value really lies in the application specific code and not the whole scaffolding around it. I hope to hear more from you as you go along.
@wilenski_damian For my own 'ventures I've been going back and forth and for now settled on paying the upfront cost for working with libgdx to gain the benefit of full control.
@noblemaster I enjoy some additional info about the software. Like a short summary on goals/non-goals, a roadmap if available and generally any info that brings the software closer to me.
Same applies to the company itself if it doesn't have a product line yet that speaks for itself.
@YaksuDev It looks a bit off when they disappear. Lore seems to be some kind of "spirit of the warrior folk striking". In that regard the spears going back into the ground afterwards also fits, like striking with the spear from the ground. Would look like a shockwave of spears.
@devharts@jekyllrb I've always been a fan of this site: https://t.co/RMrvwAbq1c Its "generated by 269 lines of commented Perl" (https://t.co/d1R71H0sIQ) and loads lightning fast (https://t.co/ffMc3HPjTN). Its not for everyone, but maybe it gives you at least some ideas.
@devharts Just double-checked it. What they do is once you hit delete the confirmation dialgoue pops up, where the confirm button is disabled for 5 seconds (with countdown) and the cancel button is available immediately.
Will be curious what you will end up with in the end.
@devharts "kind of a confirmation", ye indeed. If you decide to keep with the current ways then maybe adding an N seconds grace period, where the delete button is non-interactable but still readable, might just do it. I've seen this in the console version of diablo 3 and enjoyed it a lot.
