@sick_of_condos there are a lot of random niche emo bands that come through there, local bands, you’ll discover cool acts if you go there on a random night.
@ariellenyc People take issue with “freaky nikki” having any sort of demand for accountability” placed on her when she genuinely has no agency, and is under a spell of coercion and mind control. BPD advocates usually would not argue that people with BPD have an absolute zero sense of agency
@ariellenyc There’s a disconnect with people who consider BPD a form of possession/ loss of autonomy and those who don’t. If you truly believe you’re in a “possessed” state during a BPD episode, is it not paradoxical to be able to then hold yourself accountable? when it’s another self?
@manickitty1312 what kinda weird shit are you doing that you need to “censor” around young people… if ur a normal person then all ages shows aren’t an issue like i never get this take about
@girlthingamajig used to be like this in toronto, you’d see a lot of the same people at both and then also at protests. They even had rave after parties phor hardcore shows. Mostly all ages because there’s only so much stuff we could do as young people lol
@lifeloveregret_ it used to be like this in Toronto, was great phor both scenes and phor building community phor youth. Now both are pretentious about the other. But end of the day it’s people with loud outfits who don’t phit in who like loud music. It’s only natural there’s crossover
im gonna complain for a bit, but bands/merch teams need to hire more women & designers with heart for fashion to work on merch bc its so obvious 99% of merch is designed by men for men with no regard for how the cut and the placement of the art will look on womens bodies.
