I’m seeing exactly the same thing in my area of the province. Agriculture. Oil and gas. Keeping people alive. Anyone wanting to limit those two things are ‘anti-human’. That’s it.

Where I grew up it was so cold that the cats in my town regularly had their ears and tails frozen off. When it's forty below, you need heat, or you die. And not in hours. We didn't have town drunks (or not for long) because they froze to death regularly when they passed out walking home in the winter. That's Canada. And that's why we "emit carbon."

I completely agree with the coal comments but have no idea how we jumped from destroying scenery with giant wind turbines to coal. And why are we arguing this point? They’re both ugly and ruin scenery. I can’t CGI them out of my view.
