@FiredUpCoug First, Iβd love AJ to come back. But will we have enough surrounding talent to help him? I keep thinking about what if Jager Demon (Sp) is the player of the year. Thatβs not a diss on Rob; heβs probably my favorite player. Thatβs itβIβll put some money in an NIF fund to keep him
I haven't kept up with the NBA for over 20 years. Actually, my interest decreases each year. The NBA feels like itβs becoming the fourth biggest American sport after hockey, with the idea that whichever team AJ is drafted to, I will follow with passion #BYUBasketball.
@jakehatch, did you suggest on one of the last podcasts that AJ might hang it up for the rest of the season? I donβt believe he will, but I do think he regrets deciding to come to BYU.
@jakehatch I guess I interpreted 'look out for himself' as meaning caring for his health and restricting his game management, much like Williams. I think with some AJ Magic, we could make a sweet 16.
@TopTierCougs Not justifying it, but I do think that in LDS culture, a girl often gets caught doing something or receives unexpected results she automatically leads to claims of rape. But justice should prevail before we make a judgment.
If #BYUBasketball is going to keep struggling and looking mediocre despite the big NIL bags, why chase non-LDS 5-stars who arenβt delivering? Just stack the roster with faithful LDS kids who actually want to rep the Y. Save the cash and stay true to the mission. Thoughts?
@PamBondi@KashPatel
Anti-Mormon slurs at sporting events (BYU games: Colorado, Cincinnati, etc.) get a pass, but similar attacks on other faiths bring swift action.
That canβt continue.
Treat anti-LDS bigotry the same as every other form. Equal protection. Now. #BYUBASKETBALL
@LamilkIv@Spencer_Linton Hopefully, but we need to start games hot. We should have blown some of the teams out of the water, but due to slow starts, they are closer than they should be.
