Alex Eala to play in Nagoya Asian Games despite WTA consequences
The Women's Tennis Association recently confirmed that Eala's request for a special national-duty exemption was officially denied.
Despite these ranking and financial setbacks, Eala has chosen to proceed with the Asian Games, where a gold medal would earn her direct qualification for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
