@GlennJacobsTN@KaneWWE@WWE@undertaker I miss Paul. I wish the three of you could still do podcasts and appearances together. He’d be so proud of his son!
@davebeerflog I go back and forth between him being absolutely unbearable, and him not even being a character, but a weird narrative locus the other characters sort of bounce off of as he just offers exposition. Interesting movie, but yeah depends on what mood I’m in.
@Mars_Vltor Agreed. Pan Asia in D is enough, but the Mideast, Greece and some of Italy pushes it way to the top. Hurts to lose Mexico and maybe France/Germany but so it goes.
@DiscussingFilm I’ve played RE since the PS1 and I was shocked at the emotional backlash, weird sense of entitlement, and broadly bad taste, from some (not all!) of my fellow fans. So happy Creggar largely ignored the noise and made a great, successful film the way he wanted to. Loved it.
@MenteAlter15 I played 1-3 on the PS1. I also love film. It’s okay to enjoy and appreciate both. It’s also okay if you dislike the movie, but imo, Bryan’s humor is a result of the panic and disbelief anyone would feel in those circumstances, not some mockery of the abstract notion of gaming.
@Brownkyl1@extradeadjcb Crash is clearly the outlier here, especially considering how Brokeback is still, for good or ill, in the public consciousness. The English Patient is a bit weak, but at least a well crafted film. The rest range from great to stellar.
@QurianMcMillian@DissidentSoaps I rewatched it recently after a couple of years and it held up really well. Of the films on this list (of which I only really like 2) it’s my favorite by quite a bit. I know some people can’t stand it; I get it, but you might want to give it another chance.
@TitoSanTanaChez The Rock is an easy first place. He was so versatile, went through so many incarnations, and they were all entertaining. Second would be Jericho. Then Piper, who is a nice addition to this conversation. Then Cena and Punk by a pretty large gap.
@waythisis Bad movie. On the bright side though, really liked Amell as young RE 1 Chris, thought it was the best casting among all the RE adaptations. Best actor too. I wish they had made him the outright lead and not Claire. Some of the zombie foreshadowing at the start was nice too.
@TotalEBardbaric IT is largely a fantastic book, superior to all adaptations, but yeah I can’t defend that scene. Maybe if he glanced over it, or just inferred it, but he describes it in detail, and from the girl’s POV no less as she feels and compares each encounter. Still, it gave us Pennywise!
@spencerpratt He’s a repulsive slime and perhaps the worst person in politics right now. No actual ethics or beliefs, horrible record both personal and political, etc. But most voters just aren’t that smart, or moral. Vibes shift in a dime and it’s way too early to count him out.
@Babygravy9 I remember in the book Slaughterhouse Five, there is a part in a POW camp in which the British prisoners are just a hilariously tougher, grittier, more adaptable breed from the rest. The German captors admired the hell out of them. This vid reminds me of that somehow.
@antiquation Building K is one of the things I look forward to every play. Reset Blitz until you get a teleport sphere grand prize. I get steal/use before Rikku, then port him to Tidus and get Slowga, Hastega and Quick hit with more Acc, Str, HP, MP and great Spd. He’s awesome.
@dafiercediety I beat Penance and all the dark Aeons with Kimahri-Wakka-Tidus. He is in my main 3 the whole game and by far the most satisfying to build because the build is my own creation. Takes some planning, but that’s what makes him fun.
@GuntherEagleman Ehhh…I live here and think it would likely be light blue/purple, kind of like Pennsylvania. LA and the Bay Area are very densely populated and in my experience it’s hard to find any swath of republicans. OC, San Diego and smaller towns would be in play though.
@They_are_Arthur Yeah I remember this as a huge leap from its predecessor. Difficulty was threatening but manageable, interesting setting, some lore into the characters, cutscenes were strong. Great game. 3 was just okay.
@ATRightMovies As someone who doesn’t watch baseball, but is always surprised that it seems to be the (team) sport that generates the best media: 1. Moneyball 2. A League of their Own 3. Field of Dreams. HM goes to an X Files episode called “The Unnatural”.
