@HadassahStoltz1 I really like this too! I’m so used to writing fluff to fill pages and meet requirements that it’s refreshing to be able to write with solely your audience and purpose in mind and see what comes out of it #engl318mu
@SarahEm61299895 Whoa that’s so cool! I’ve never thought of that before. Such a good idea to calm down and make sense of what you’ve written as it stands alone in a paragraph #engl318mu
As the course comes to an end I have to say that I’ve learned a lot. I really like the https://t.co/5mH97FJV37 program we got introduced to, all of the online engagement, and the assignments that have made me work out of the typical essay formatting that I’m used to #engl318mu
What stood out to me the most in instructor feedback is that EVERYTHING matters. When Dr. P takes time to evaluate my work piece by piece it sheds light on how valuable every word/sentence/phrase is and makes me focus more on audience and purpose #engl318mu
Lots of blue in this picture. The blue of the water is always my favorite. Isn’t it crazy how it’s clear in smaller amounts but ends up such a pretty color?! #engl318mu#drpgame
I took this picture on the way home from work today. I like how the blue of the clouds kind of blankets the sunset so the pink shows through #engl318mu#drpgame
@laurenlizlanas I agree with you. I always appreciate when someone puts effort into giving feedback on my work especially when there is time to make revisions! Sometimes it’s hard to implement everything all at once so I usually work in chunks #engl318mu
I work as a lifeguard over the summer so I spend a lot of time looking at blue. This pic features one of our diving boards which I noticed because of it’s light teal color against the water when doing a safety inspection this morning #engl318mu#drpgame
@skyegibbon This is too funny! I started asking myself ‘why??’ while writing during this course as well. It’s so simple yet so complex. I’ll have to remember to guide my feedback as a teacher so that my students learn the value of asking ‘why’ too #engl318mu
I will adapt my revision process by working harding at revising itself. The project is different than anything I’ve done before so I will need to pay close attention when editing my draft, listen to feedback, and revise multiple times before it’s due Friday! #engl318mu
My typical revision process involves going back over my work a little bit at a time. I usually revise, move on to something else, revise more, move on etc. This gives me a fresh look at my work each time even if I only revise over a day or 2 before a final submission #engl318mu
I think I have succeeded in my goals after submitting my draft. The ideas I presented definitely need to be revised and edited before a final submission but I did my best to suggest useful solutions that are doable for the program #engl318mu#drpgame
I’ll measure the success of my writing process goals by how I feel when submitting the assignment. If I feel good I usually feel like I’ve achieved my goals- they go hand in hand #engl318mu#drpgame
