@mn_flickinger @leximacht_ I’ve always had the opposite problem, I tend to be too concise in my writing! I’ve been getting better with it, but during times like now when so many things are due at once it makes a major reappearance #engl318mu

@MandyNWeaver I have a similar experience with writing! I sit and mess with the order of my points and examples so much while I’m in the outline stage, but at least it usually means smooth sailing once I get to the actual writing #engl318mu

For my writing process, I’m most proud of how I have started to spend more time on my essays than before. I think that working on them over more time could really help me produce better work! #engl318mu

@brody_glick @taylorgmu23 This is an interesting method! I do tend to outline my thoughts beforehand, but I struggle with thinking of/implementing edits once I’ve started writing. Doing something like this could be really helpful! #engl318mu

Seeing everyone’s definitions for content, learning, communication, etc. is showing me the things that I hadn’t thought of for my own definitions. It’s showing that the topics aren’t easily defined, but it’s also displaying collaboration in our discourse community of #engl318mu

Writing can demonstrate critical thinking in that it can be used to produce a long-form work, like an essay, that discusses a topic at length, and can give a more in-depth look at the author’s ideas than something like a tweet #engl318mu

Learning is taking in new ideas that lead you to think of and about things in a different way #engl318mu

I understand collaboration to be the bringing together and combining of the ideas of an entire group into one final product. Collaboration can create an even better final product because various minds went into it #engl318mu
