everything is autism. the wind is autism. the birds swirling through and within it, autism. their atoms. the motion of their breath, the frantic beating of their little hearts is literally just autism. the push and pull of the tides, the moon circling silently above. autism
...this is just autism.
This is literally just autism.
And then everyone keeps calling you a weirdo because they can't comprehend that texture disgust is a thing.
And then you grow up feeling like you're insane.
@pududeer unfortunately the only non-rx thing that sometimes works for me is very high thc indica, but only after making me super nervous for the first half hour
AI supporters are actual traitors against humanity and i’m gonna treat them as such. they’ve chosen to sabotage the intellectual, spiritual and creative development of everyone on earth. they are scum. they are insects
multiple times this person claims that "NT people don't have to think about brushing their teeth." i promise you that they do. it is probably easier for them to actually follow through with it, but they do have to remember and think about it
the funniest thing about this lie is that they really seem to think that habits = completely thoughtless, automatic, autopilot, ingrained in the brain. no dawg. i have a habit of drinking coffee every morning, it does not mean i come out of a daze and the coffee is made
Fun fact - all the usual advice about forming habits is completely useless if you have ADHD, because habit formation is a biochemical process that our brains are literally incapable of completing. We can NEVER achieve the autopilot that habits are for non-ADHDers.
i wake up. i think, hmm, i would like some coffee. i consciously walk to the kitchen and remember all the steps to make coffee and perform them one at a time. if i stop paying attention i do the steps wrong, because habits do not mean the same thing as autopilot
@everymortalcare when people asked for a source this person said "not exactly" and then "pay me to find the source for you" so i offered $10 for one single reliable citation that proves people with ADHD can literally never form a habit, ever. i'm shocked not to have received a link
@foncomics@_parasocial@Shiramina13@dawgalova@babs_zone it's possible that the op not including ANY OF THAT IN THE TWEET might have affected my ability to infer it out of fucking thin air, but i hope you're having fun! i'm going to block you just to make sure the conversation is over but truly have a great day
@foncomics@_parasocial@Shiramina13@dawgalova@babs_zone that's a really interesting thing to extrapolate from "our brains are literally incapable," but ok! i am not giving you $10 since this offer was only open to op and only if the source proved that ADHD makes habit formation impossible, but have a great day, truly ☺️
@foncomics@_parasocial@Shiramina13@dawgalova@babs_zone op claimed it is literally impossible to form habits with an ADHD brain. "habit formation is a biochemical process that our brains are literally incapable of completing." interesting paper tho, it does seem that habit formation with ADHD works differently (but is still possible!)
@dawgalova@_parasocial@Shiramina13@babs_zone i mean, i'm not too worried about losing $10 here because the source clearly doesn't exist and isn't coming. but if it magically does and is proven accurate, i'll happily pay up
@Shiramina13@dawgalova@babs_zone i'll take you up on that! $10 for a single reliable source, citation, paper, anything that proves conclusively that people with ADHD are literally incapable of forming any habit. again, this is $10 for you to send me a link! would love to see that link!
@Nyethro69 @HughHoult@thick_madamn_@KristyT what things are you pretty sure would stop a baby's ears from popping due to air pressure. what necessary precautions do you think would magically prevent that
