They had the opportunity to build a rich, and very profitable, mythology around everything that had happened since return of the jedi. Instead, the main characters spent decades on their couches doing nothing. Luke wasn't on the path to bring the jedi back, and Leia was a total failure at creating a new Republic. Han and Chewie wandered around space accomplishing nothing. Lando didn't spend 30 years being an opportunist who does the right thing when it counts.

Disney's goal was to deliver the message that, just like us, our heroes were mediocre white people who peaked in high school. They threw away billions for the opportunity to spit in our faces.

1) how are they supposed to find the bodies in all of the rubble this quickly? That expectation seems like something created specifically to cause Hamas to fail.

2) If those 50ish executed people were innocents, okay. But if they were militant opposition funded by Israel, it would seem like another situation created to purposefully end the cease fire.
