Adrian Smiseth Sejersted got twisted over the Seidlalmsprung at Kitzbühel, landed the recovery and still finished fifth.

I love the part after the mistake. His right ski takes the landing first, his body stays over it, and only then does the left ski come properly back underneath him.

I’m amazed by the strength, but I respect the balance even more. If that left ski had caught hard while it was still sideways, it likely would have pulled him straight into a fall.

He still finished just 0.36 seconds behind Marco Odermatt. That makes the save even better for me.
