17-year-old Karmelo Anthony crashes opposing team’s tent at a track meet, refuses to leave, says “touch me and find out,” pulls a 5-inch knife from his backpack after a soft shove, and stabs Austin Metcalf in the chest, killing him.

Dozens of eyewitnesses. Prosecution rested after 21 witnesses. Defense screams “self-defense.”

Maine Sec. of State Shenna Bellows just killed the “Protect Girls Sports” citizen initiative despite initially certifying 71,033 valid signature.

She later invalidated ~12,542 more, leaving it 532 short.

This isn't getting nearly enough attention. So much for democracy...
