we took mello to the vet for an xray about 6 weeks ago bc he was having a hard time breathing. at that time, we found out he has edema of the lungs and got him on meds. 1/?

optimistically, we'd only have a few more weeks with him, so we made the choice to schedule an appt with hospice to have a dr come to us for the final goodbye on weds.
we will continue to make his last days as comfortable as possible, as we will always do what's best for him. 4/?
