Great weekend with my Athletics Mercado. We went undefeated all weekend winning the 2026 Top Gun TX College Prospect Series. I went 7 of 12 hitting with 4 walks and 1 SB. Played LF/CF with no errors, and got to pitch one inning of no hit ball.

Big challenge playing 18U this summer. Started the majority of the season in CF, still pitched in 10 games, and hit in the 1 or 2 spot for most of the season also.

NO FLY ZONE. Went 8 for 8 on total chances in CF this weekend, no errors. 5 occurred in a tight 2 -1 win for my team. Also put into practice my coaches advice of finding the fence and staying behind the ball.

Despite only giving up one ball to the outfield was still able to get out of a base loaded jam with no runs!!! Remained calm and kept hitting my spots. Got 2 grounders and one strikeout. Shoutout to my defense for making PLAYS!! #atheleticsmercadobrown18u #txgloryshootout26

Getting in some work with Coach Jules. Working on my pitching mechanics and also hitting while staying balanced and driving through that back leg!! Shout out to my catcher, Katelyn.
