@mjt91x@mitsuhiko I've build a little command line tool doing basically this which is intended to run off on a plan file and implement, test and review it until everything's "fine" - as defined by the deterministic tests aswell as the code review agent.
So far this brought me the best results.
@hunvreus@shadcn I do like my default mac terminal, but I'm using this within
- ohmyzsh
- tmux
- aliases, little scripts, lazygit, etc.
I don't found yet any features those other terminal emulators would give me, which were worth the switch.
@hunvreus LLMs are __not__ like talented senior engineers. They're much more like scared juniors who churn out somewhat working solutions, hoping that it's good enough, while at the same time are too afraid to ask for better guidelines.
@devadam88 My best time is just below 30min - but that's really not fun for me.
Currently, a pace which does not make me regret the run the whole day would be ~7:15 - which is still considerably faster than when I do my regular 6,5km jogs.
@ryanels This meme is very interesting, because my perception is the opposite: most java devs do backend work and only a fraction works in mobile development.
@molecularmusing I like to explain it to myself like this: Coding is to software engineering like soldering is to electrical engineering.
The engineering did become a lot more important due to the ease of producing code now, and I want to figure it out. (I still grief for it - I love coding)
