I am using VS Code and steering clear of AI because some very basic experiments didn't give me code I much liked. Am also still using VS Code but getting the idea that most devs have moved on to use more AI-integrated editors. Whatever, VS Code works well for me.
@LGB_1962@politicsusa46 The only sneering, disgusting, out of touch wanker I see here is you “Happy to be a toxic moron”. There I fixed that last sentence for you.
@OjasSharma276 I call bullshit. Web browser tech is a flaky mess with numerous workarounds to try and make development easier, all of which have pretty much failed. U write code and have to test it on multiple platforms all with different bugs that break. Back end is single platform. Easy!
@r0ktech Don't move from the backend to the frontend - world of pain. Don't become unpaid shill for Microsoft. Don 't believe Microsoft when they say something is "strategic" when you know it's "tactical". Avoid second hand car salesmen who in the software world are called "evangelists".
@Bhavani_00007 Pointless question of people don't explain why. For me, TS is obvious. Just type safety and less runtime errors is enough. Why on earth are all these people choosing JS?
Despite having no followers, maybe someone read my tweet about broken #Angular v21 documentation yesterday around the game example and associated code because today it's suddenly there! :-)
#Angular Quality control at its best. Head straight to the Angular v21: The Adventure Begins page and this is what you get. The "experience" of clicking "Show Code" is to just show you the words "v21 Game World" Sigh!
Eight years away from Angular, but now back in the saddle (for a personal project - I'm officially retired). LOTS of documentation to get my head around!
