Vandalism is not a part of any combing operation. The nature of ongoing combing operation in Moreh, a border town between Manipur and Myanmar has left many civilians running for their lives- beaten and their belongings taken away. Alarming. @PIBHomeAffairs@PMOIndia
The demise of Oficer Anand in the prolonged Manipur conflicts is sad.His family deserves comprehensive support & assistance beyond mere condolences. Also, crucial for the govt to treat the family of fallen oficer Haokip with equal respect & fairness, without preferential treatment
As many as 94 bodies are lying unclaimed in mortuaries in government hospitals in Imphal and Churachandpur, six yet to be identified; most belong to the Kuki-Zo people from the hill districts #manipur https://t.co/HTIkILleM3

My dear Sis, @MangteC
Sorry, one word for you: "Inappropriate"
Your state is burning for God Sake, you are praising the govt. & the new parliament building.
Wake up now, use your influence to help those in the relief camps - both in the valley & the Hills.
Playing the role of a good samaritan, Kannur University in Kerala has decided to offer a helping hand to students from Manipur whose higher education was affected by the ongoing violence in the state. The university allows 70 students who have fled from the violence to join various degree courses

Sometimes humans resort to superstitious beliefs and while it may be an exercise of one’s free will, it does become a necessity to believe in something.
But what’s more concerning in particular is the fact that these young men would venture into danger and risk their lives.
Unless anyone breeches the buffer zones, unless anyone attempts to attack beyond the area where the central’s neutral forces are positioned on duty, non of these young men would have to fear for their lives.
Non of them would have to die in another men’s village when there is already a clear geographical, political demarcation between the valley and the hills.
The saddest part of it all is when these young men are made to believe that their death would be glorified in the name of protecting the integrity of Manipur when on the contrary, it was all for some powerful men’s greed and their vested interest.
In an attempt to protect the state’s integrity, it has failed to protect its lawful citizen.
Protecting its integrity does not mean to allow the violation of a women’s dignity by parading them naked.
Protecting its integrity does not mean to condone the decapitation of another man and hang him on a fence in mockery.
Protecting its integrity is a far cry from burning a 7 year old son alive in an ambulance.
There have been too many horrifying incidences that it’s too morbid to even remember them all.
A state would be liveable only if it succeeds to protect everyone, regardless of their ethnicity and religion rather than siding with just one ethnic group.
Why would the state police and commandos be working in cahoot with the Meira Paibis while disrupting the duty of the Army on duty.
When such is the degree of lawlessness, a deep sense of fear will always engulf the marginalised section of the community especially the KukiZo community in Manipur.
“ Where the mind is without fear”
How can we work towards solving this so that such community should be empowered rather than being crushed by the tyranny of a pro Meitei government, inciting only hatred and false accusations against an another particular community.

The recent SAFF U-16 Championship saw a triumphant return for the @IndianFootball team. However, a stark contrast emerged when boys from #Manipur made their journeys back home. The Manipuri boys, basking in their success, had a grand reception as they landed at #TulihalAirport in Imphal, a place that once symbolized a sense of homeliness for everyone upon touchdown.
Sadly, the #KukiZo Boys, who contributed to India's football glory, had to endure a long and inconvenient detour through either Aizawl or Dimapur to reach their respective homes. This poignant contrast highlights not only a logistical divide but a deeper emotional one. The Airport in Imphal, which once embraced KukiZo people with warmth, no longer extends that welcome.
This situation underscores how the emotional, mental, and geographical separation between the KukiZos and the Meiteis has become undeniable. Administration-wise, the divide seems to be a foregone conclusion, and an official declaration of separation is imminent. Regrettably, the damage caused is irreparable, emphasizing that a #SeparateAdministration is the only solution.

In case India thinks it’s all quiet and calm in Manipur. Not only is peace elusive. There is heavy firing going on as I write this!
Tomorrow, we will enter the fifth month of unabated violence.
Shouldn’t border states like Manipur be a priority? @PMOIndia@MINISTRYOFDEF14
While the majority lounged-for blood of Muslims, while teachers communally abuse Muslim kids at institutions (school/colleges), while Muslims are tortured & lynched everyday, While Muslim houses are bulldozed and there are calls for economic boycott,
Even then, this is what every Muslim feels- peace for all.
