you’re too much when you stim, info-dump, or express things the way that feels normal to you. so you learn to shut up and keep it all inside just to avoid the weird looks.

and then you get shamed for being quiet too. because now you’re awkward or off.

you can’t win.

and if you try to explain this to people they hit you with why do you care so much what others think?

and that’s when the lizard-brain part of me wants to throw hands.

Dato curioso: ¿Por qué algunas personas escuchamos un rugido antes del sismo?

Porque un sismo no llega “de golpe”. Cuando ocurre, libera distintos tipos de ondas, y las primeras en viajar son las ondas P (primarias). Son las más rápidas y, aunque producen un movimiento muy leve, pueden hacer vibrar el suelo, las ventanas y las estructuras, generando ese sonido grave, como un tren acercándose o un trueno lejano.

Segundos después llegan las ondas S (secundarias) y las ondas superficiales, que son las que normalmente sentimos como el verdadero sacudón del sismo.

En otras palabras: ese rugido que muchos escuchamos es, literalmente, el sismo avisando que ya viene, los perritos al tener un odio súper sensible, son los primeros en detectarlo y avisarnos, son más efectivos que cualquier alarma!

This album is my way of committing to leaving that chapter of my life behind for good. I wanted to include even the parts of my past that embarrass me, and through that honesty, show everyone my determination to move forward.

So this album is about overcoming my past. It contains 11 tracks, and if you listen from Track 1 through Track 11, they're arranged in sequence. As you go through them, I think you'll be able to experience, step by step, the process of Choi Seung-hyun sorting through and coming to terms with the identity he carried in the past.

To convey those emotions as truthfully as possible, without any pretense, I wanted to present this album in the rawest, most unfiltered way I could. In some ways, it's deliberately rough and rugged in its expression. I wanted to share the album with you in that honest, unpolished voice.”
