I’ve played, coached, reffed & covered basketball for 30+ years. I’m also NOT a Spurs fan. What OKC has done — building half their strategy to manipulate the refs on every possession — is a disgrace to the game and awful to watch. This is Harden on steroids. Fans deserve better.
The Spurs have the ball down 98-88
• Refs miss a goaltending call
• Ball goes off Chet’s foot
• They ignore the coach’s challenge request
• SGA gets free throws
• Mitch Johnson is hit with a tech
• Lu Dort and Tony Brothers laughing on the sideline
Us fans deserve better than this smh
@DukeEmpire5@JamieShaw5 You aren’t wrong. With all the talent Scheyer has had the past few years and coming up well short, I see this team having the same outcome.
@WisBBYearbook Gards lack of getting top in-state recruits over the last 10 years is the programs biggest Achilles heel. Missing out on amazing talent year after year.
I’m legit concerned for the @BadgerMBB program. Can’t keep top in-state talent and can’t pull top guys in the transfer portal. Gards seat should be feeling a little hot right now.
NEWS: Donovan Davis, Rivals’ No. 31 overall recruit in the 2027 class, has committed to Iowa State, he told @Rivals.
The 6-7 forward becomes one of the highest-ranked players to choose the Cyclones in the modern recruiting era.

@TSpeth5@V22158Boyz@WisBBYearbook If he would’ve committed to Madison, I was hopeful he would’ve stayed 3-4 years which would’ve provided an opportunity to develop him.
@mtrimberger19@WisBBYearbook For 2027, yes. I believe Fickell is headed in the right direction with in-state recruiting but his first couple years were horrendous.
