Paul Farrow was the definition of a public servant.

As state representative, state senator, and finally Waukesha County Executive, he was a passionate advocate for the needs of his community. In between all his important work, he took time to mentor so many YRs throughout the years in our own careers and lives. He leaves a legacy not only in his public work, but also in the private words he shared with the next generation.

Last year, we were proud to make him the inaugural awardee of the YR Forward Award which honors a lifetime of service to the State of Wisconsin. Then and now, we can think of no better example.

Our prayers are with Amy, his kids, and the entire Farrow family in this time.

With a 60% higher budget and 10% more employees, he's allowed murder to increase by 43%, officer assaults by 68%, and vehicle theft by 11%.

While I didn’t know Bice for long, he was one of the first reporters I introduced myself to when I moved here.

We didn’t always agree, but he always made it clear his goal was to be fair and independent. It didn’t matter if you were Republican or Democrat his mission was getting the truth. His reporting will be greatly missed.
