Just saw a man check out a younger woman while his wife stood right beside him and I couldn’t stop thinking about how terrifying it must be to spend years with someone and eventually realize they’ve never stopped looking for something younger.
A woman working 40+ hrs a week, paying for her own hair, nails, rent, car, food, gas, handling everything by herself, is not going to be the soft, feminine woman you expect her to be. Andno, she can't bring you peace when she's in survival mode.
Sorry, but a man who ruins your mental health cannot be the love of your life. Ever. I know you love him. I know you've built a future in your mind with him. I know you keep hoping he'll change, that things will get better, that the good moments will eventually outweigh the bad.
But here's the truth you need to hear: real love doesn't destroy you. Real love doesn't leave you anxious, depressed, constantly questioning yourself, walking on eggshells, or losing pieces of who you are. That's not love, that's trauma bonding.
ngl, i’ve always found overly private relationships a bit weird. like why aren’t you loving your partner out loud? you ain’t posting them, you ain’t flirting in the comments, you don’t like or repost their stuff. it’s those little things that just seem strange to me honestly.
Fall in love with someone who genuinely wants you, patiently waits for your messages, understands you even in your madness, talks to you after a fight. The right person sees the mess and moods but still chooses you.
i’m sorry I am a traditional woman when it comes to certain things..…i firmly believe that a man is supposed to chase the woman, court her, spoil her, love her more....anything outside of that is weird.
