An outstanding speech by Home Minister Shri Amit Shah Ji. With concrete facts, he has highlighted diverse aspects of our electoral process, the strength of our democracy and also exposed the lies of the Opposition.

PM @narendramodi gifted a Russian translation of the Bhagavad Gita to President Putin during his two-day state visit to India.

The gift symbolizes the deepening cultural and spiritual ties between the two nations.

Anyone else had a similar experience?
Even the restaurant charged 5% GST over MRP of the 1 ltr Aquafina Water bottle (MRP already includes GST in it).
Is it legal ?

Had lunch at Barjorji's Bhojan, #Balasore, but the experience was marred by blatant overcharging!

₹40 for a water bottle with an MRP of ₹18? That's just not right. Understandable if they charged a bit extra for service, but doubling the price? Not cool.

He’s Dr Nisar-ul-Hassan. He was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at SMHS Hospital, Srinagar.

In Nov 2023, he was dismissed from service by LG Manoj Sinha for alleged terror links. It was widely reported in media. Despite that, he was hired by Al-Falah Hospital, Faridabad, as Professor.

Two questions: How is dismissal from service considered enough for someone with alleged terror links, why no legal action? Second, a terrorist rehabilitation centre has been running in the name of a hospital in the NCR since 2014, how has it not caught the attention of intel agencies till now?

On Oct 27, posters supporting Jaish-e-Mohammed appeared in Srinagar. CCTV footage showed a man putting them up, and police traced him to Saharanpur.

The man turned out to be Dr. Adil Ahmed Rather, MBBS, MD (Medicine), employed at a private hospital on Ambala Road. Until last October, he had been posted at the Government Medical College, Anantnag. When investigators opened his old locker at GMC Anantnag, they didn’t find books or coats, they found an assault rifle.

His interrogation led police to another doctor, Dr. Mujammil Shakeel, MBBS MD (Anaesthesia), working at Al-Falah Hospital in Faridabad. From Dr. Shakeel’s possession, police recovered 350 kg of suspected ammonium nitrate, 20 timers, and another assault rifle.

Police say this is among the largest explosive stockpiles seized in recent years, and that a major terror plot targeting Delhi-NCR was likely in its final stages.

And with that, we have two more distinguished entries to Malala Yousafzai’s ever-growing alumni list of “Education will surely eliminate terrorism.”

Ricin is one of the deadliest poisons known. Tasteless, odourless, you wouldn’t even realise if it was mixed into your food or water.

Meet Dr. Ahmed Mohiuddin Syed, an MBBS from China. Using his medical knowledge, he had been extracting ricin from castor seeds for a long time to carry out what would have been one of the biggest mass poisonings in the world by mixing it in water and likely temple prasad in Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Lucknow.

He, along with two others, Mohd. Suhel and Azad, was arrested by the Gujarat ATS. They were in contact with ISIS handlers through Telegram. They were also in contact with Pakistani handlers who were dropping weapons for them through drones.

Another reminder that we don’t thank our anti-terror agencies enough. Their job is like that of a goalkeeper: you are noticed not for how many goals you save, but only for the ones you fail to stop. We will never know how many terror plots our agencies have foiled in the last decade. It must be many. There are so many radicals who want to harm us all the time, and yet we’ve seen mostly peace in civilian areas over the past decade. Hats off, and gratitude.
