今回の参議院議員選挙、非常に残念ですが、
石川大我、当選することが叶わずとの報告が入りました。

全国各地でご支援頂いた皆様、
力が及ばなかったことを申し訳なく思います。

今回の選挙、これまでに無かった選挙となりました。

排外主義や差別を訴える党が躍進するなど、暗澹たる思いです。

LGBT差別や外国人差別を公然と主張する側が当選し、
差別はダメだ、と訴える側が負けたのです。

しかし皆さん、どうか希望を捨てないでください。
自暴自棄にならないでください。
私たちの闘いはこれからです。

この6年間、多くの仲間に会い、同志を増やしました。たくさんの種が全国各地蒔かれ、萌芽しています。

私たちの闘いは終わりません。

なぜなら、彼らの主張は私たちの人権を奪い、人間としての尊厳を奪い、命を奪うからです。

嘲笑に包まれた差別を許すことはできません。
私たちや、仲間に向けられた差別は、近いうちに必ず、他のマイノリティや弱い立場の人たちに、いや、自らがマジョリティと認識していた人にさえー向けられる可能性が極めて高いと言わざるを得ません。

恐れず立ち上がりましょう。辛い人は、ニュースを見るのをやめて、今、あなたのそばにある小さくとも確実な幸せを大切にしてください。

今を生き残ることが大切です。

私たちの闘いは終わりません。

多様性を尊重し、一人ひとりの違いを力に変え、
誰一人取り残さない、そんな社会を一緒に創っていきましょう。
