Everyone who knows me knows what a massive fan I am of Christopher Nolan. When asked why I am not going to see The Odyssey, many assume the casting. Honestly, that's not it, by itself. It's the changing of so much of the core of the story, to include Odysseus's arc and letting all the actors pretty much act like their 21st century selves, to include dialogue. To understand why I cannot bring myself to watch modern dialogue for a film like this, just watch this re-do of a scene from LOTR: The Fellowship of the Ring.
