Thousands of people flocked to Peasholm Park in Scarborough last week for the annual Moonlight on the Lake festival.

Organised by ourselves and @animatedobjects the park was transformed over two nights to tell the story of the town through lanterns and illuminations.

The 80th anniversary of D-Day will be commemorated at #Scarborough #ArmedForcesDay through an artwork built by the community.

The 12m relief sculpture, created by @animatedobjects, depicts a life-sized D-Day landing craft which will be unveiled in the town on 29 June.
