@Wilson_CS2 >Expecting the average video game player to have any awareness of biases, logic, scientific principles and not just parrot misinformation and draw conclusions from nothing
@takeiteqsy@RobertBeckebans Log in the screenshot references a Radeon R9700. The lighting is flat albedo. No lightmaps, not even a cosine term. With such trivial geometry, most of the GPU work will be pixel shading. 30k fps should be attainable with his card and a Quake 3 level. 3.5k is pathetically slow.
@zilleel@Gigabear_X Then just don't play their game. How are you going to decide that I can't do what I want with my computer just because you're afraid?
@girlglock_ Most Wayland implementations do not have an immediate (tearing allowed) present mode. Immediate exhibits the lowest avg. latency, esp when FPS >> refresh rate. Sway now allows enabling tearing. It would be good to include present mode, refresh rate, VRR? in test descriptions.
@BOENSAW In Quake & Source, collision hull means the AABB used to compute traces against world geometry. Valve's wiki often uses the term verbatim. CS players will never get used to 'expressive' animations because they go against the ethos of the game.
@antoniosarosi N monkeys can also write 2K+ lines/hour. AI is so powerful that you spend your time abstractly shilling for it and being a "content creator" for dimes instead of oneshotting something that makes you some money. Or maybe you people just do this out of unadulterated generosity.
@Thorin Truly some of the most insightful academic discourse on sorting a list of 20 video game players I have ever read. Is there any way I can donate to this life-altering, world-shaking pursuit of knowledge?
@CSLegacyGame Every post and day you continue to advertise directly with Counter-Strike trademarks you're amplifying your legal risk. A superior project wouldn't need to advertise this way or create hype far ahead of any meaningful development. These are indications of amateurism.
@valhalla_dev@NewsWire_US I'll just happily play CS 1.6 and SC1 on a potato. You waste more time just on Twitter than I spend playing games. You believe, arbitrarily, that your meaningless play activities are fine but others' are not. I'm sure such a delusional moron is contributing so much to humanity.
@BanKsEsports imagine the extent of your skill development as a human being being drama farming for twitter clicks payout and asking dull, repetitive questions below a six-year-old's intellectual level
@default041 Mouz is likeable because of how much you retards cry and slander them as if stopping two Israelis from getting a CS trophy is going to save 1e9 gazan babies. Never any scrutiny for Russian players or psy-ops about them supporting the SMO. Jews are the sole evil to you children.
@mylo_cs@ZooL_Smith You can't just join an established corporation of hundreds of people, many of whom far outrank you, with a game consisting of millions of lines of code and spin things on their head. Valve is strongly anchored in their status quo. They wouldn't give the reins to an outsider.
@StatsMerchant@CsNeok@CounterStrike The focus seemed to be on cheating with expensive skins. If you aren't VAC banned or manually banned, your skins don't get trade locked. VAC Live as the other guy said, is quite a different system. The risk of a cooldown is pretty different from perma trade+account ban.
