In a different world, we'd be celebrating 23 years with all of you this year. But, though we said goodbye 11 years ago, we've never truly gone away.
Rather, we watched the anime world grow into something big, vibrant, and special, and we're proud that we could be a part of that.
As it's clear we're in the final gasping days of this hellsite, I wanted to take a sec and just thank y'all for following us all these years. It's your support that kept us going from 2002 - 2012, and it's been an honor and a pleasure to watch the new generation take hold.
Farewell, 2010s... and hello, to a new future.
While we're no longer in operation, we'd like to remember the good times, and look upon the voices we inspired, who stepped up to form a new generation of anime fan media in the 2010s.
Y'all are awesome. We miss you guys.

@reiinesis @animeherald@sam_animeherald Not at all! It was a different time, back then. Social media accounts were just dumb feeds for content, and so was I.
Also, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on them! You'd say "gimme five bees for a quarter!"
On this day in 2002, we welcomed four new faces to the team.
Puppet Princess, Phoenix's Rage, Benjamin Fennell, and Samantha Ferreira would all become unforgettable parts of our crew.
Though we've gone our separate ways, the time we shared was unforgettable. We miss y'all. 🙂
Congrats to @sam_animeherald - one of our alumna, who just passed her funding goal for tabletop game Big Eyes, Small Brains. We're proud of you, as well as your comrades @otakureview and @AttentionSpanG ! https://t.co/gokHXafZYW
Today, @SEGA_OFFICIAL is kicking off Sega Fes and, this year, Sakura Wars Expo. Let's wish the TeiGeki fans a good time, as we look back at our review for Sakura Wars: The Movie. https://t.co/AAGSgPgWMi
We're taking another trip back to the past today! On this day in 2003, Yushiro was looking at a now classic Kajiura release, as they reviewed See-Saw's Dream Field album. https://t.co/t6x9WiqbU8
Happy lunchtime! Time for another trip to the past. On this day in 2007, we were talking up Masamune Shirow's Shinrei Kari, a little film called "Ponyo," and Freedom: which gave us the best cup noodle innovation in, well... EVER! 😲 https://t.co/WiEnPlkuAq
Happy lunch time! It's pizza day here at former AD headquarters, which means, well... we have a lot of free time to experiment with stuff... like this brownie pizza. :0
If you're curious about the franchise, check out @sam_animeherald - she's... kind of a fan. 😉 She even broke out that big ol' Complete Box today to show folks what's inside. https://t.co/6x8IsLYPGt
Teikoku Kagekidan, Sanjou! 17 years ago today, we were gaga for Sakura Wars! Sakura Wars 4 and the Complete Box hit Japanese retailers on 3/21/2002, and news of the release date for the movie's DVD version were announced. #SakuraWars https://t.co/bz3VdJtYV6
Wow... it's hard to believe it's been nearly 20 years since Anime Dream launched, helmed by Nicole "Sumire Kanzaki" Kirk. We burst into the scene on January 18, 2000, talking about Battle Angel Alita creator Yukito Kishiro's manga, Aqua Knight. https://t.co/KlXBFjLjAk
