Ok, know that I am settled up at home and had enough rest, just want to talk about ONE situation about the OFDO Fanmeeting in Mexico City..

The Thai-Spanish translator.

We told the promotor days before to NOT hire her as a translator and they ended up givin her the job. I was truly very sad about EarthMix & AouBoom, because their speech were very long too but the fans couldn't understand a single world about them because this "translator" only gave us a few words of their speech, we know what they were saying (we all watch series, we can distinguish what they are talking about but not the full translation) and she only translated what she wanted. There was a moment that this lady said "Alai wa?" to something that Boom said, and Aou had to stand up and go to her place and tell her.

On my Facebook page and talking with other fans, they are saying that Joss and Gawin definitely saved the event (even Gawin tried to talk more) i was looking at JG almost the entire time and kinda feel the frustration in Joss when this lady was "translating". Some ppl behind me were screaming "JOSS, PLEASE TRANSLATE FOR US!!!" but that was not his job obviously, he was there as an artist, even tho he still translated some moments, also, not everyone in Mexico understand English (I live by the border of USA so i am more used to it, but we were at the center of the country, is far away from USA) what i mean is, they are Thai, they had to give us a professional Thai-Spanish translator, there are a lot of options and we suggested, they didn't listened to us. I hope this don't happen again in Peru.

Sorry i just wanted to said it, we also send a message to the promotors again, but the damage is done. I spent more than 10k mxn (20k baht) in this event (only the ticket was 7k (14k baht) not counting the plane tickets, hotel, etc. They only had to give us what we deserved for the prices we paid. Thanks for reading me.

🚨A diretora de Matrix e cocriadora de Sense8, Lilly Wachowski, revelou em nova entrevista à Variety que passou anos tentando levar diferentes histórias queer e trans para as telas, mas encontrou dificuldades para conseguir financiamento e produção em Hollywood.

Entre os projetos estava uma adaptação de #Cosmoknights, história em quadrinhos de Hannah Templer que Lilly descreveu como “Star Wars com lésbicas no espaço”. A série seria desenvolvida por Lilly em parceria com Emily Andras, criadora de Wynonna Earp, e tinha Amy Poehler como produtora. Segundo Wachowski, o projeto chegou a ser apresentado para diferentes empresas, mas ninguém quis produzi-lo.

A cineasta contou ainda que, desde 2022, apresentou outras ideias com protagonistas e histórias queer e trans e não conseguiu encontrar um estúdio disposto a realizá-las.
