Social media can truly bring people together. I’ve met a few internet friends through apps by sharing common interests like the author did with her “chosen family." It’s crazy to see how far others have gone with it by leaving their real family

This has happened to me and it was honestly concerning and scary on my end. People reached out to me asking if that was actually me they saw on Tinder. It was very unnerving knowing someone out there was posing as me, saying who knows what. #BeachSMC
