Romualdez Caught Looting ₱88 Million From the House Budget

Martin Romualdez bloated the House training budget from ₱42M to ₱94M, hiding a massive ₱88 Million discrepancy behind fake excuses.

Ito ang tanong ni dating Comelec at COA Commissioner Atty. Rowena Guanzon matapos iulat ng NCRPO na wala umanong permit ang isinagawang pagtitipon sa EDSA nitong Martes.

Sa kanyang social media post, kinuwestiyon ni Guanzon ang usapin ng permit at inihambing ito sa mga alegasyon ng katiwalian na aniya’y naging dahilan ng pag-oorganisa ng pagtitipon.

“Sabi ng NCRPO, ang pagtitipon daw ngayon sa EDSA ay walang permit.”

“May magagawa ka ba? Hahahaha.”

Dagdag pa niya, hindi umano dapat maging pangunahing usapin ang permit kung ang ipinaglalaban aniya ng mga nagtipon ay pananagutan sa mga inaakusahan ng katiwalian.

Ito ang naging pahayag ni dating kongresista Kiko Barzaga sa kanyang social media post kasunod ng mga ulat na nakatakdang sampahan ng kasong plunder si Senador Rodante Marcoleta.

Sa kanyang post, ipinahayag ni Barzaga ang kanyang reaksyon sa reklamong isinampa laban sa senador:

“Wala namang kinalaman si Marcoleta sa Flood Control, siya pa ang kinasuhan. Kaya bagsak ang ekonomiya ng Pilipinas, pati gobyerno puro ad*k. 😹😹😹”

Lumabas ang pahayag ni Barzaga matapos ipahayag ni Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla na nakatakdang magsampa ng kasong plunder laban kay Marcoleta ngayong linggo. Ang reklamo ay may kaugnayan sa umano’y pagtanggap ng senador ng ₱75 milyong campaign donations noong 2025 national elections.

Nauna nang itinanggi ni Marcoleta ang mga alegasyon at iginiit na wala siyang nilabag na batas.

“Wala akong alam na aking nilabag na batas. Yung pong kanilang mga asunto ay puro imbento yun.”

Sinabi rin ng senador na ang mga pondong tinanggap niya ay mula umano sa mga pribadong indibidwal at hindi mula sa kaban ng bayan.

“Pribadong pera na itinulong sa akin, paano naging public, paano naging plunder yun?”

Patuloy namang hinihintay ang susunod na hakbang ng Office of the Ombudsman kaugnay ng nakatakdang pagsasampa ng kaso laban kay Sen. Marcoleta.

NEWS ALERT: Video footage of buses marked "New Era University" transporting individuals to the EDSA People Power Monument was captured by @DZRHNews reporter Val Gonzales, as members of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) trooped to EDSA northbound in front of the monument.
