This comparison is unscientific and false analogy. People of color in the US are not the same as SC/ST/OBCs of India. IITs need to be 60% ST/OBC/SC. India needs to bring in the reservations for faculty and students like that. India needs to bring in reservation in politics and parliament, too. The same needs to be in UPSC and DRDO, too. And then lastly India needs caste reservations in the Army, Navy, and Airforce at 70% for SC ST OBC and dalits. Merit should not be a criterion in anything, including in providing security to the country. Someone who can't do a jump needs to get into our Marcos with reservation, in place of someone who can jump and shoot at same time. It is very important to have reservations everywhere. Because after that India will cease to exist as a nation as from education to entertainment to entrepreneurship to everything we will have low quality human resources taking the place of higher quality merited candidates. We need to implement reservations of 60% in IITs as we know our foreign well wishers want that only in a progressive India.
